Dream Park is one of the largest theme parks in Egypt and the Middle East. The Park was established in 1999 and designed by a famous Canadian architecture company which is Forrec, Dreampark is a member of IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and attractions). The Park offers a large variety of rides and game for different age groups and occupies a large space with different sections such as food courts, gift shops, video games, and cafes.
The main problem is that Dream Park has a poor visual identity, since they do not use any advertising, people tend to loose interest to go and are not persuaded or excited when they hear about it. Another problem inside the park is the misuse of the maps and directions because of their poor or unclear qualities and explanations; therefore it could be misleading to certian people.
The aim of the project is to attract more audience to visit the park and enhance their experience by creating a clear orientation system inside the park to guide the people to their destinations.
In order to make sure that the games are understandable, the games illustrations had to be tested, on young age groups in order to see if they would be able to understand each game or not. They were very helpful and commented on some of the games that they did not understand, and upon their comments some changes were made to simplify the illustrations.
